Association Marocaine des Petits Débrouillards (AMPD)
Overview
Created in 2005, at the initiative of association executives. Les Petits Débrouillards (AMPD) aims to be an association promoting scientific, technical and environmental culture. It aims to give all Moroccan children the opportunity to learn about scientific, technical and environmental activities in a fun and interactive way, by allowing them to participate in workshops where each child can observe, manipulate, experiment, learn while having fun, marveling and asking questions. Originally from Quebec, the concept of Petits Débrouillards allows for the development of learning through scientific awareness workshops while essentially using recycled or very inexpensive materials. From an experimental approach, children discover scientific principles in a serious and in-depth manner in different fields (chemistry, astronomy, water, energy, etc.). Based in Rabat, the Moroccan Association of Little Go-Getters operates in various closed or open spaces (public and private schools, socio-educational centers, arts villas, youth centers, etc.).
