French Livestock Institute (IDELE)
Overview
Livestock Institute is the French technical institute of reference for the beef, sheep and goat sectors. A non-profit, non-governmental organization, IDELE brings together more than 300 experts for an annual turnover of 35 million euros. At the international level, its International Technical Cooperation Office (BCTI) brings together the skills of all French livestock organizations to offer a complete range of services: expertise, audit, professional training, technical assistance and advice for the development of beef, sheep and goat sectors. The BCTI supports both private investment and the development of public regulations or national programs. Over the last few years, the BCTI has intervened in around fifteen countries in the Mediterranean basin, Eastern Europe CIS and the Balkans, Central Asia, Latin America, West Africa.
