Reseau Espace Civil de Fes et Region (RECF)
Overview
The Réseau Espace Civil de Fès et Région (RECF) is a non-governmental organization (NGO) based in Fès, Morocco, dedicated to strengthening and promoting local associative action to address various sustainable development challenges. Established in 2007 through the collaboration of six local associations with support from the Mohammed V Foundation for Solidarity, RECF has expanded to include 21 member associations.
The organization focuses on enhancing the managerial and institutional capacities of local associations, providing tailored training modules, administrative and legal support, and guidance in project development. RECF manages the Centre de Formation et d'Animation du Tissu Associatif in Hay Tarik, Fès, inaugurated in 2009 by King Mohammed VI.
Through this center, RECF offers programs aimed at improving governance, strategic planning, and communication skills among associations. Additionally, RECF supports cooperatives by providing technical and legal assistance, as well as training in sales techniques, financial management, and conflict resolution, contributing to the overall development of the Fès region.
