The Mastercard Foundation works with visionary organizations to provide greater access to education, skills training and financial services for people living in poverty. The Foundation’s programs promote financial inclusion and advance youth learning and its work is guided by its mission to create an inclusive and equitable world. Our focus is helping economically disadvantaged young people find opportunities to move themselves, their families and their communities out of poverty to a better life. The MasterCard Foundation is an independent global organization based in Toronto, Canada, with more than $6 billion in assets. Established in 2006 through the generosity of MasterCard Worldwide, the Foundation is separate and independent from the company.
